  • Measurements of the atomic parameters (transition probabilities of atomic and ionic lines) by emission spectroscopy
  • Stark broadening of the spectral lines in plasmas.
  • Calculations of atomic parameters and lineshapes in plasmas

Plasma diagnostics

  • Low and high-temperature plasma diagnostics by classical (emission) and laser spectroscopy (esp. LIF).
  • Demixing effects in plasmas.
  • Diagnostics of the barrier discharge plasmas, measurements of the electric field.
  • Design and creation of the spectrometers for plasma diagnostics.

Modelling and theory

  • Theory of so-called heavy-fermion compounds.
    Theory of disordered solids.
  • The influence of impurities and defects on the
    thermodynamic and kinetic properties of the
    heavy-fermion compounds.
  • The description of disordered solids with the help of fractional derivatives. Numerical simulations.

Others

  • Application of the piezo-, piro-, and ferroelectric materials for plasma generator construction.
