EUROFUSION Consortium (f. EURATOM Project)

Since 1997 in Max-Planck Institut für Plasmaphysik in Greifswald, Germany was constructed a new-generation stellarator, Wendelstein-7X. Our group participates in the works by preparing and calibrating the spectroscope for monitoring the spectral lines of hydrogen-like ions of oxygen and carbon (C VI, O VIII) and taking part in the experimental campaigns, using VUV and visible spectroscopy for plasma diagnostics. We cooperate also with other EUROFUSION projects, e.g. measurements at JET and preparations for ITER.University of Basque Country
This topic is co-supported by UE in the frame of the EUROFUSION Consortium.

ICARE Laboratory, CNRS

Since 2002 we cooperated with ICARE Laboratory, CNRS, (formerly Laboratoire d’Aerothermique). During this cooperation we partook in two projects – planetary entry project, using the hypersonic plasma chamber PHEDRA and plasma propulsion project, with the help of the plasma chamber PIVOINE. This cooperation is now suspended.
